Creature, Nova and NOX concepts and studies

NOVA AND CREATURE SKETCHES
I tried out giving the creature a lizard-like body, making it more agile. But I liked the stumpy legs on the Creature more, it makes it look more friendly. I think it would also be interesting to make the creature big and slow-looking but it can run fast, tricking the machine. Gino suggested to make the creature's body more round to suggest the possibility of it being fast.


NOVA DESIGNS
I put the designs I made for Nova on Facebook and people voted on the ones the liked, I counted them all up and put them together, some people told me what they liked about them, which helped a lot! I decided to use those and combine what people liked about each design to create another range. I just need to make sure I don't stray from the original idea of Nova too much. In some of the designs, I think she looks a little menacing...




NOX SILHOUETTES, STUDIES AND CONCEPTS
I searched up some reference for NOX and copied their silhouettes to find what makes them unique. I tried to apply these to some of my own silhouettes, I tried out making the legs and arms longer and how they make me feel (menacing, over-powering or creepy) and trying to figure out what look I want to go for. 
I also studied some head shapes of some machines in Games or movies and what about them make them look "evil". I think I want the machine to mainly look "evil" but also have some softness to it to suggest some good in it.
I played around with the idea of parts of the environment growing on the machine (almost like nature is fighting back?), maybe have some grass growing on it and some ice bits sticking out which could add to the machine looking more evil and dangerous.
